Where to Spend your 2012 Holiday

It’s a new year and despite that, I am sure that there are lots of people already looking to get away for a holiday. There are so many great holiday destinations all over the world but some places are better than others at different times of the year. I have a list of places that I think should be the top of any holiday destination wish list in 2012.

Where to Spend your 2012 Holiday

Dubai

Dubai has become one of the most popular tourist destinations over the last few years. Lots of people have also started moving there permanently, and I say this as a few of my friends have gone over to become English teachers. Dubai is a great holiday destination. A place called Zighy Bay is home to the Six Senses Hideaway, which is one of the most beautiful places in the world. There are huge and luxurious properties that still keep the true feeling of the Middle East and another spot you should definitely check out is Abu Dhabi. The landscapes in this area will blow your mind. There are many different hotels that you can stay at as well, including the Hilton Abu Dhabi.

Caribbean

The coast of Mexico gives visitors the chance to dwell near some of the best beaches in the world. The Caribbean is known for its hot weather and is perfect for a winter getaway. Jamaica and Tobago are great for those who want to have a good time while working on a smaller budget. If you don’t have such a tight budget, then Barbados will be the perfect place for you to go to. Sandy Lane in Barbados is possibly the most famous resort in the area and gives visitors the chance to go to the beach or even enjoy a round of golf while staying in luxury.

Brazil

A place that is known for its wild celebrations is Brazil. Brazil has recently won the bid to host the FIFA world cup in 2014 and the Olympics in 2016 as well. The city is going through a major upgrade and even though it’s still only the beginning, it already has the electric feeling in the atmosphere like the World Cup or Olympics are there already.

South Africa

Since the world cup was held here in 2010, South Africa has become livelier than it ever was. I’m not saying South Africa was a boring place to visit before, I’m just saying it got even better. Cape Town and Durban have some of the most beautiful beaches in the world, some that would make even Miami locals stop and stare. In Cape Town you will also find one of the best hotels in the world, The One and Only. Staying in this luxurious hotel will make anyone feel like royalty.
